A Getaway

The day after Christmas we headed to Branson for an overnight trip. We stayed at one of our favorite hotels...they have comfy rooms, an indoor pool for the girls and the best breakfast! We enjoyed shopping, eating, and just getting away as a family. It's one of my favorite traditions!

Christmas Morning

“Our hearts grow tender with childhood memories and love of kindred, and we are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again at Christmastime.” Laura Ingalls Wilder

We stayed up so late getting everything set up just right. I wanted twinkle lights on the tee pee and the stocking stuffed and ready...

There were squeals and giggles by both girls.

I pulled out the Polaroid for a nostalgic feel...

The look on Ella's face says it all!

Christmas dresses from Belks. Perfect Christmas colors...my sweet girls.

Oh boy, I had to bribe to get pictures...too much excitement for the littlest. ;)

Christmas breakfast! Homemade cranberry bread, cinnamon rolls, coffee and puppy chow!

Their last gift was a letter...with pictures from Oliver the Elf and one last surprise! We took the girls to Branson for an overnight trip the day after Christmas.
