Spring Happiness

We've been savoring every single moment of spring...

We've played at the lake. Visited the ducks. Spent hours upon hours outside. We've spent time coloring, reading, and swinging on the hammock. We've hiked, shopped, and sipped our way through the weekends.

The girls have built pretend robots, dug in the dirt, made mud drinks (instead of pies, who knew?), jumped on the trampoline, and pretty much needed a bath every single night because POLLEN here is crazy insane.

I deleted my Twitter, deactivated my Facebook, and honestly have spent SO MUCH TIME choosing to be positive. I've spent so much time walking, praying, and thinking about the kind of mom that I want my kids to remember. It has been a season of change, good change, and I am very thankful.

It's been lovely, perfect, and just what this momma heart has needed. My mornings have looked a little brighter as I've been much more intentional about quiet time and gratitude journaling. Counting my blessings has a way of turning things around. <3

  1. I've been thinking about you, Heather.
And figuring you were doing just what you wrote...enjoying and savoring every single moment of this amazing time in your life! You are the second friend of mine that has let go of social media lately. I did the same with mine a few years ago. I am also trying to live a more intentional life. So happy you and your precious little girls are having a wonderful spring. I remember those days! I loved the afternoons outside, followed by cool baths and fresh jammies. Then dinner and a sippy cup of milk while we watched a tv before bed. Enjoy, sweet friend!!!
