Happy Memorial Day!

Happy Memorial Day!

I've looked forward to dressing Evie in this adorable Sailor outfit. I grew up in a deeply patriotic home, so holiday like Memorial Day were important. I'm beyond thankful for the many men & women who paid the ultimate sacrifice so that we could enjoy our freedoms.

May we never forget the cost.

Organizing my bathroom cabinets
Workout

New Recipe I tried or want to try soon:
The fritatta recipe that I want to make this week is a new recipe. :)

Looking forward to this week:
Spending some time at home getting organized, and working on a few blogging projects.

Tips and Tricks:
One of my favorite homemaking tips is to keep a bottle of anit-bacteria wipes in the bathroom. Each day, takea  minute to wipe down surfaces and the toilet. It keeps the bathroom relatively clean, and decent looking if company drops by. Not to mention, it smells much better.

My favorite blog post this week:
I confess, I haven't caught up on my blogs this week! Probably tomorrow.

Front Porch Blessings

I love sprintime. I think it was God's idea to reward us with incredible beauty after such long winters. Winters here are not pretty. We don't get much snow. Just ice, and lots of cold. Winters tend to seep into mid march, and slowly fade with April.

Our azalea bushes finally started blooming, and we purchased our yearly ferns for the front porch. I love the cool breeze that each evening brings, and honestly the pollen is worth it. Ha!

We've had fun taking Evie Grace outside to bask in the sunlight. She's starting to notice the flowers more, and she enjoys taking walks outside. Although, they do tend to put her to sleep. Nap magic? Indeed. ;)

I'm thankful for these beautiful days of spring, and sunshine, love and laughter, and oh so many memories with our little family of three.
